  • Vibration Sound Therapy (VST)

Therapeutic sound therapy has been in use for centuries throughout various cultures around the world.

Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST), combines powerful vibrations and tones, produced by specific instruments to induce a gradual and profound relaxed state, similar to deep meditation. By placing instruments directly on the body, and applying correct technique, a practitioner engages with their client both physically and energetically through auditory stimulus.

The primary focus of the therapy is to align and energize the flow of energy-potential (Qi) circulating in the body. The vibration of sound produced by the instruments used can penetrate deeply into the layers of skin, muscle, organ, and bone, and also permeate the surrounding space.

The techniques associated with VST have some advantages over traditional massage. With VST, the client remains fully clothed and is only lightly touched directly by the practitioner or the instruments. In fact, because the instruments are doing most of the physical work, physical contact is usually kept to a minimum. Also, with VST there is no downtime soreness sometimes associated with traditional massage.

    VST can be useful for:

    • Stress/Anxiety
    • Sleep disorders
    • Circulation problems
    • Muscular tension
    • Mental clarity/focus
